Coping with and managing bereavement and loss

In our darkest times we all need to feel that we can share our feelings with someone we can trust, and being able to talk about the people we love and the space they have left behind is essential. There is no set time for the pain to lessen, it is not after the funeral and is not after the first anniversary of our loved one's death. It is important to understand the way grief can overwhelm us and being able to talk and be heard by someone we trust in a comfortable safe place can help us to feel supported while we are moving through this painful chapter of our lives.
